Josué J. Justel graduated in History in the University of Zaragoza (extraordinary degree award, 2002). He earned his “Diploma de Estudios Avanzados” in Ancient History (2004) and different degrees in Postgraduate Courses granted by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, 2003-2006). He earned his PhD (European Degree, German section) in 2007 with a study on the social position of women in Late Bronze Age Syria. For that, he should accomplish various stays in Paris, France (2004) as well as in Berlin, Germany (2006). His scientific career as researcher subsequently continued into different post-doctoral fellowships in prestigious centers of cuneiform studies: Collège de France in Paris (2008), Universität Leipzig, Germany (2010, 2012), and CNRS in Nanterre, France (2010-2012). During this time he has been Alexander-von-Humboldt fellow, CAI-Europe program fellow as well as postdoctoral contracted by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
