Research lines:
- Catchment-scale eco-hydrological modelling.
- Climate and land use change impacts on hydrology and aquatic ecosystems.
- Groundwater and surface water interactions.
- Water quality and ecological status of aquatic ecosystems.
- Impacts mitigation in large reservoirs.

- PhD in Environmental Sciences (specialty in Hydrological Resources and Aquatic
Ecosystems), University of Alcalá (Madrid). European mention.
- MSc in Secondary School Teaching Training (specialty in Biology and Geology), University

- 2019-present: Assistant Professor, University of Alcalá (Spain).
- 2017-2019: Postdoctoral researcher, Aarhus University (Denmark).
- 2015-2017: Postdoctoral researcher (external fellowship), Aarhus University (Denmark).
- 2014-2015: Postdoctoral researcher, University of Alcalá (Spain).
- 2014 (Feb-Jun): Full Professor, Autonomous University of Baja California (Mexico).
- 2008-2013: Predoctoral researcher, University of Alcalá (Spain).

Professional skills:
- Computer modelling and calibration of hydrology, nutrients and sediment transport at a
catchment scale (ArcSWAT, QSWAT, SWAT-CUP, SWAT-MODFLOW).
- Advanced GIS user (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Limnological, water quality and soil sampling, monitoring and laboratory analyses.
- Scientific publication and communication skills.
- Teaching experience in water resources modelling and management.
- Co-supervision of four BSc thesis.
