According to the terms of Art.83 of the Organic Law on Universities, any piece of scientific or technological work, or provision of technical services, must be previously formalised through a contractbetween the UAH researchers or research group and the company or public or private organisation for transfer of research results to the market.
Model contracts should be adapted to reflect the specific conditions of each case so that the legal relationship between the parties involved is appropriately regulated. To this end, the RRTO (OTRI) provides a legal advice service for researchers, in coordination with the Research Support Service.
Once the contract has been drawn up, it must be signed, in triplicate, by the legal representative of the company or organisation and by the researcher responsible for its implementation.
Once the contract has been signed, it should be sent to the Research Support Service for approval, countersigning by the legal representative, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and registration in the official UAH Register of contracts and agreements.
The Research Support Service is responsible for administrative procedures, including invoicing, naming of grant holders and recruitment of personnel through the Teaching and Research Personnel Service.
Financial management is the responsibility of the Administrative Management Department in the building.
