Study Abroad at the Franklin Institute
The Franklin Institute-UAH offers a Spanish Studies Program for undergraduate students. Our comprehensive academic program reaches beyond the usual study abroad programs by treating this academic experience as a global experience. The time spent studying in Alcalá is considered a fundamental period of academic, intercultural and personal development for the students.
Teach & Learn Program
The objective of the Teach & Learn Program is to provide native English speaking students with the opportunity of spending a whole academic year in Spain, studying a Masters from the University of Alcalá under a scholarship scheme, while doing an internship as language assistants in schools of the region of Madrid. Internships include a stipend and medical insurance.
Students may choose one of the following Masters' Degrees:
- Masters in International Education (With courses taught in Spanish and English).
- Masters in Bilingual and Multicultural Education. (With courses taught in Spanish and English).
- Máster en Aprendizaje y Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera. (Taught fully in Spanish).
