Transport on campus:
The short distances between the various university centres means that it is easy to walk between them; however, there are numerous urban bus lines that stop in the centres or nearby. These buses also stop at the railway station.
On the Out-of-City Campus (Science and Technology Campus)
There is a free university train that runs all over the Campus. Trains leave approximately every 20 minutes and stop at almost all the university buildings.

There are urban buses connecting the various university centres which also stop at the railway station. Bus numbers 3.1 (Circular) and 3.2. run between the railway station and the university campus. There is a special extra university bus service at peak times, which leaves the railway station every 20 minutes. Most journeys from the bus station are possible on foot.

You can travel between the different campuses, or to Madrid from Alcalá de Henares or Guadalajara by train or by bus.
Trains depart every five minutes at peak times and every 10 minutes during the rest of the day, except for trains to Guadalajara, which leave every 15 minutes at peak times and every 30 minutes at other times. The estimated journey time from Madrid to Alcalá de Henares is 39 minutes. The journey time between Alcalá de Henares and Guadalajara is 17 minutes, and 53 minutes between Madrid and Guadalajara. There are also buses to Alcalá de Henares and Guadalajara from the bus transfer point in Avenida de América in Madrid. The journey time between Alcalá and Madrid is around 30 minutes (45 minutes between Alcalá and Guadalajara).
Students needing to travel frequently between the campuses of Alcalá and Guadalajara can purchase a transport card enabling them to travel at a very cheap price. The transport card can be obtained at the international students office in Guadalajara.
