RECOGNITION OF CREDITS

PROCEDURE
  1. The application for recognition of credits is done telematically, through "MI PORTAL", within the set deadlines.
  2. Before making the application, you should refer to the Regulations, and check the public fee established for the study you are applying for, which depends on whether the studies were pursued in a Spanish or a foreign centre.
  3. Complete enrolment in the study plan for which you will request recognition. New students entering the University have to let 24 hours pass since they are registered to access the receipts management application and MI PORTAL
  4. Access the Receipts Management application and generate the receipt for payment of the study applied for. Payment is a prerequisite of the study and processing of your application.
  5. Access "MI PORTAL" using the user name and password that you registered with, select Request Adaption (Petición de adaptación), Validation or Regocnition  (convalidación o reconocimiento), and follow these instructions:

If you are enrolled in more than one study plan, choose the plan for which you want to request recognition.  If you are only enrolled in one study plan, the system will display it directly.

In step 1. Check the boxes of the subjects for which you applying for recognition and click the next button.

In step 2. For each one of the selected subjects in the previous step, complete the subject(s) taken for which you want to apply for recognition.  If you want to register more than one subject taken, press the [+] button which is found next to the subject field.

If you took the subject at UAH, the system will show you all the degrees in which you have records and the subjects you have studied.

If you did not study the subject at UAH, you must fill out all the fields, except the numerical rating.  If you can not locate your university in the drop down menu, you can add it.  In addition, you can also enter the name of the company, if you are requesting recognition of professional experiences.

When you have registered all of the equivalences, go to the next page by clicking the button.  Important: if after registering all the equivalences, you return to step 1, you will lose all of the information and will have to fill out the fields again.

Navigate to the last screen and check the summary of requests that you have made, verify that the data is correct before printing.  Make sure that you have a printer connected to the computer that you are using.   Remember that once you have requested the recognition of a subject, you can not do so again for the same subject.

Print the application and hand it in to the "Registro de la UAH" along with the required documentation, and the proof of payment for study of the application.
